I need a title for my poem, any ideas?
I went to Church and joined a team and grew and felt assigned
They sung some songs to their one and only whom I could never find
For I had my own idea of my one and only whom was merely mortal as I
Their doctrine of sorts knew nothing but vulgarity and shame
But for blind faith and phony adulation, who is one to blame?
Their subtle flues and mindless platitudes tested my proud might
I spoke up and tried such ways but many weren’t nearly contrite
Ignoring all this, I stayed and had much fun
But I couldn’t imagine what that could have done
I taught myself to want to leave as I should have had such desire
For what was keeping me there was nothing but overt mire.
