The real irony is that refugees being turned away is precisely what ISIS wants. ISIS wants those people back in Syria, so that they can be radicalized and incorporated into their army, as well as used as human shields against air-strikes.

The muslim terrorism thing is real.  However, I think it's wrong to call it terrorism when it's actually warfare. Flooding the country with a lot of enemy soldiers is a very stupid idea.  We will pay the price for that stupidity.  The bill might come due in 75 years but it will come due and have to be paid.

Yes there are muslim terrorists, but the most dangerous terrorist groups in our country aren't muslim. Why do you think the refugees are enemy soldiers?

What are the terrorist groups in our country?

Thanks for the info. Some of those I was familiar with, others I was not. I still would not say any of those are more dangerous than Muslim terrorist groups though. 9/11 killed so many people, and there have been attacks by Islamist extremists here in just the past year.

But none of them as big as 9/11. That was a horrible event, but they haven't been able to replicate it. I'm more worried about being corrupted from within, than being destroyed from without.

We seem to think the enemy of my enemy is my enemy, and if he is not my enemy, then by god I will piss him off until he becomes my enemy.

It's popular to regard the enemy as terrorists instead of enemy troops who are fighting for their political objectives.  At the same time we claim that we are at war.  And we use the military to fight it.  In the case of this particular enemy, which is based on religious beliefs, they can garner financial support from the whole religious community.  So if all believers contribute just a dollar a month they will have billions of dollars each month to wage the fight.

Everyone is a soldier in wartime even if he doesn't wear a uniform.  So if they aren't on our side they are on the enemy's side.

Each time they make an attack we lose some of our freedoms.  Soon we will be more repressive than East Germany was.
