21 U.S. states will not allow syrian refugees

Obama will be allowing 10,000 new Syrian refugee immigrants to resettle in the U.S. this year , but some States are tightening up their own border security 21 states told the federal government today that they will not be allowing immigrants from Syria into their State and are encouraging Obama to have all immigrants from Syria to undergo extensive vetting including a 'religious test' before entering the U.S. which Obama has rejected as unfair and shameful that they should suggest such a thing , after attacks revealed that some of the attackers in France were Syrian refugees and ISIS promises to attack targets within the U.S.

and yes the attacks are motivated by religion but there shouldnt be a religious test given to immigrants just because theyre muslims doesnt mean they are going to be terrorists .

States cannot prohibit refugees. That power is reserved to the federal government. It's a lesson certain states must be taught over and over.

The States can't bar the Syrian refugees if the Federal government grants them refugee status. However, if the refugees move into those States it could cause a lot of civil unrest. The country went through the same thing when States barred black people from entering them in the 19th Century. So this is nothing new and is normal American behavior.

What those States can do is to put pressure on their Congressional delegations to impeach Obama and remove him from office. That is completely legal.

It is hypocrisy for the government to tell other countries to accept the refugees when we don't want to do it ourselves. From a moral standpoint we should accept all of them since we are the ones who caused the problem in the first place by waging war in their countries. Even at this very minute a lot of the Repubs want to cause even more havoc in those countries, which will result in more people leaving them for the West.

From a practical matter the States don't have the infrastructure necessary to absorb those refugees, especially with winter approaching. But they do seem to be able to handle all of the illegals that show up everyday. They are not exactly the same problem though.

Like Trump said, our politicians are stupid. But so is he. The problem is going to get very ugly very quickly. It's time to get a scapegoat.

So pay attention because this is what happens when idiots are in charge of countries in the modern world. Everyone ends up covered in shit.

The muslim terrorism thing is real.  However, I think it's wrong to call it terrorism when it's actually warfare. Flooding the country with a lot of enemy soldiers is a very stupid idea.  We will pay the price for that stupidity.  The bill might come due in 75 years but it will come due and have to be paid.
