The thing about people who do things like he did in retaliation, is that they think they are somehow the victor, but usually everyone ends up pitying them. Revenge isn't a good look...on anyone.

I'm fairly certain I can say that it isn't justice they're feeling, but emotional revenge. It's not impartial. It's entirely personal. You don't have to hide your enjoyment of it under the cloak of 'justice'.

I would just talk to her and end the relationship. Me and my wife have a deal: if one of us finds someone better, best end the relationship right away.
