Did you ever go to catlick school? Me, I spent 8 years in primary and then 6 in secondary. When you add up the half hour a day of religious instruction I did plus the months long preparation for both communion and confirmation, 2 of my 8 years in primary were in religious indoctrination. During that time I had not one single lesson in a science or a foreign language, which would have been far far better for my education. Luckily enough, despite going to a CBS, most of the teachers who taught religion classes weren't that interested in indoctrination, but we still had at least five masses a year which were mandatory, and 4 40 minute classes of religion, time which would have been better spent, you know, learning stuff.

Just a small thing I have to say, I fucking hate the new trend of people starting talking and using the word "so" like you did in the thread title. It just makes my entire body shiver with disgust.
But anyway beyond that, the letter T looks nothing like a cross, the word trix isn't a word that I know of, so I'd say looking at it on face value it's a very useless lesson with no value. And yes that does look a lot more like a religious symbol than a letter so you're probably not just being paranoid.

I went to a Catholic school from k-8th grade. We had science class in every single grade, including learning about evolution. And yes, in 8th grade we all had lessons in French, German, and Spanish.
As for learning about Catholic stuff, well um... duh. It's a Catholic school. Of course we learned about Catholic stuff. But we learned a lot about other stuff too. Much more than I did at the public high school I went to afterwards.
For being skeptics, some of you sure are quite the conspiracy theorists when Christians are involved.

Nowhere in my post did I say there was some conspiracy to teach my kids about god. Did you miss the part where I said he goes to school at a church and it doesn't bother me? How about the part where I said it doesn't bother me if my kids are exposed to religion?

Meh, I didn't ask him about it.
He does have a tendency to recite religious nonsense from time to time, and I'm not sure where he learns it. He's never been to church and we don't talk about religion in the house at all. My wife and I mutually agree not to do it.
It could be from school but I don't know.
Either way, I'm not exceptionally worried about it. It just struck me as odd. There are a whole bunch of other letters in the alphabet before the letter T that's he's never done any kind of craft project with. T seems like a strange starting place.

I never said you said it bothers you. I do think it's ridiculous and extremely silly that anyone would think this this might be some sort of sneaky Christian ploy.

Uh, guys. Trix is the name of a kid's cereal. The same cereal that is glued to the LETTER "t" on the OP's picture.
They're probably doing this thing where each day they learn a letter and have to glue things to it that begin with that letter.
