Zika virus/microcephaly/abortion/Brazil

RE: Zika virus/microcephaly/abortion/Brazil
I was just reading that most recent research suggests the increase in birth defects including micro may actually be linked to the chemical that is used to destroy mosquito eggs, and not zika virus.

If true, that is rough, because they need to keep the mosquito population down for many health reasons, but may need to find a new and safer way to do so.

Also, is this going to effect the Olympics?

According to this link Monsanto is guilty as hell.

This article blames another company, a Monsanto subsidary.  http://www.techtimes.com/articles/133548...octors.htm

It isn't the link WoG provided, but basically the same info.  I don't remember where I saw it (honestly, I was reading it on my mobile while sitting in a hospital, so I wasn't paying full attention to it, or the source), but I'll make an effort to find it again and link it if I do.

Thanks for the sources.

The first one I've got reservations about. They have their own agenda. Notice that they are anti-vaxers. Look at some of the ancillary topics. The one I like is "Medicinal clay used by Native Americans shown to be more effective than overused antibiotics".

Here are a couple others to read. The second is a little techy. Skip to the "Comments"

I disagree with Brazil adding pyriproxyfen to the drinking water. That is not sound judgement.

As much as I don't like some of the New York Times' politics, I'll take an article from them over "Natural News" any day. Natural News is the kind of website that would blame Monsanto for disrupting a city's chi flow or blame Big Pharma for the rise in the number of blondes, or something.

And this brings up another topic when.. has the church done actual good for humanity again?
Nothing absolutely nothing just a bunch of old rich people pretending to have magic powers
wanting to control people. Abortion should be legal period. The bible isn't pro life at all and that
says a lot.

Pyriproxyfen has been used in the USA for decades, including in flea/tick medications. While I would not draw conclusions, this seems quite unlikely to me based on the mode of action of this insecticide (it's a juvenile hormone analog, a hormone that humans don't have, only insects have it).

Could be. But it could also be something else. Zika virus does exist in other countries that do not have this high incidence of microcephaly, so I think there is a lot of information still missing.

Monsanto doesn't own pyriproxyfen, Sumitomo does, interesting how they are blamed. "Thanks Obama" has become "Thanks, Monsanto"!
Monsanto does not own Sumitomo.

Anyone notice that the link to Guillain-Barre Syndrome is not being talked about much?
