It -is- discrimination and harassment. There should have never been any reason to enact the law, that's anti-gun nutters shame, right thur. Get a nutball law enacted to protect people from your nutballery. Our political system in a microcosm.

Doctors are supposed to make recommendations for the safety of their patients (and in cases like these of others.) Especially in cases of mental health.
But no, we can't have anything even REMOTELY anti-gun because that would go against the second amendment. It's ridiculous that a doctor isn't allowed to advise people not to have a gun in their household if someone in that household is mentally ill.
Sometimes I find myself hoping that a bunch of NRA members get shot up next time, instead of school kids or people who are at their place or some mentally ill person who kills his wife, his kid, then himself.

Gun deaths, in this country, are -entirely- a cop vs robbers issue. Gun deaths remain "crazy high", Igno.... because, if you have nothing, it's undeniably "worth it". In any case, everybody -is- innocent until proven otherwise....would you change that?

The presumption of innocence does not preclude reasonable precaution. That's why. We could do better, ofc, to live up to that maxim. Not a problem for me, though. I'm the right shade of lipstick. I could murder a motherfucker cold-hearted and await trial on bail as a free man. I'm landed gentry with a steady history, they know where to find me, lol.
No joke, the presumption of innocence is under-appreciated, until you're in a position where you don't have it. I've lived under both regimes. I far prefer the presumption.
