We did have Sacagawea on a coin minted for a few years. Don't know if they still mint them.
The irony though is it says "In God We Trust" and even if she had her own spirits I doubt the assholes who put that on her memorial coin meant Native American gods.

They had one for Susan B Anthony and put "In God We Trust" on that too despite Susan saying, " I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires."
-- Susan B Anthony. In 1896, Susan B Anthony stepped down from the chair and addressed the National-American Woman Suffrage Association

I like it, but I'm not sure how it would play out. 'Hey, fellas - awfully sorry about the genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced relocation, but here's your picture on a dollar. All better now?'

We have on one coin.... Read my last post above...

Now if you mean paper money, I'd be up for that too.

Yeah, more needs to be done. But hey, it's a start, right? It's obviously not my country but more natives in government would probably be a good idea.

Not my country either, but I agree completely. This is we have special Maori electorates here (although the Maori didn't get tromped nearly as badly as Native Americans).

An aside:
The congress will NEVER EVER eliminate paper currency in favor of electronic.
If there was an electronic trace of every transaction, there would always be a chance of risk of discovery that does not exist when one is simply given a briefcase full of cash.
And don't say Bitcoin, it's corrupt or corruptible, and/or hacked or hackable. Just give 'em that cold hard cash and get outta here.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
