Is it mine? If not, then ... well, damnit. The fact that I never got to have sex with you likely limits that possibility. Damnit. (Hehe.)

Seriously, congratulations to you and your husband. I'm very excited for you!

I saw on Facebook recently that Catholic_Lady is also recently pregnant. Perhaps we can talk her into returning, so y'all can talk about the process. And I'm sure the moms here on the forum will have great advice for you, when it gets rough... because it most likely will, at times. We all wish the best for you!!

(My second child was born in January, and I'm still basking in the glow of that new life.)
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

36 weeks go by quickly, so enjoy. My imploring enjoyment stems from the fact that my wife loved being pregnant, despite its obvious demands. I have no first hand knowledge of course. My grandmother had ten kids and calculated over 8 years of pregnancy and said they were the happiest 8 years of her life. In my grandmother's case I couldn't discern that she enjoyed being pregnant or that she had a reprieve from my grandfather's libido. Joking of course. My daughter has the same recollection of her two pregnancies. Alas, an experience that I can only experience vicariously.

I wish your growing family all the best.

Thank you, Cato! Yes, my first pregnancy was quiet enjoyable until the kidney stones reared their ugly heads, but it all worked out. It's funny how you can so easily forget all the pain and suffering once it's over and done with. I truly think it's an evolved trait ensuring that human women have more then one offspring during the course of their fertile years! [emoji12]

Looking at that pee stick with the faint second line brought back some memories for me Smile

This is my second, actually. My little boy will be two in August. This should be an adventure! How many for you?

LOL, you're right, you never know! I should have been more specific. Very happy. My first was conceived on the first try, and this one on the second. I guess I am what they call a "fertile Myrtle" [emoji39]

Now THAT would be an immaculate conception, eh? [emoji13]

Yes, positive! Sorry, I should have specified. I forgot not everyone is crazy and takes 25 pregnancy tests a day like I do! [emoji14] (I'm exaggerating, but only slightly)
