While I have dated (and then some) men old enough (woot!) to be my father, actually dating my father, or any of my male relatives out and past to at the very least, kids of my cousins, is definitely out.

Having said that, if no one is having kids at that level of consanguinity, I'm not thinking state/local/federal guvmint needs spend any money prosecuting or incarcerating.

I'd also note, as we have seen (unfortunately) in the Amish world, there is getting to be a seriously growing problem with accumulating genetic problems from most all them being descended from too small a group of people. And technically, they're seeing problems out into 2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th cousins equivalent since the gene pool is so small, they're essentially not really that far removed in actuality.

So, mom's and sons, and fathers and daughters, please play safe.

And if anyone finds themselves in that boat as a result of not getting to 12 Steppers in time, we'll save a chair for you . . . .

Incest may or may not be a damaging thing as a whole, but this is pedophilia, and abuse of position of trust. At least for the mother. Not sure how I feel concerning the son.

I don't think they should be imprisoned. As EP said, "ew" is not an argument. They don't pose a threat on society. They don't pose a danger to themselves.

There are laws against incest in most countries. I don't nessecarily agree with it, but that's just how it is unfortunately.
