IRL you need to use context clues and mannerisms to decide how that person wants to be treated and then do your best to treat them that way within your own comfort zone.

I get naked a lot, and don't care if I am naked in front of other people. I'm still the same person and expect to be treated as such. My clothes don't define me, but I recognise that society generally does place demands on how women dress and define them accordingly. 
You might say I'd treat her with more respect if she was naked. At least I wouldn't be undressing her with my eyes. (Voted no, duh.)
