I did give a specific example. He uses Huffpost data on how americans think of feminism, and ignores WaPo data.

I can kinda see the argument they make about the wage gap, even if their statistics are off. It does make sense to suggest women tend to earn less because of their chosen career paths and lifestyle choices, rather than it literally being "women are paid less for the same work doing the same hours". If that was the case, why would any sensible employer hire men when they can hire all women and pay them less?

I would like to see the hard evidence for both sides though, we can't just throw around this as an anecdotal "I believe women are paid less!" ... "I believe they're not!" without actually bringing the proof.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

I've never heard of this guy before
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Nah. if one claims that women are paid less for the same exact work and hours, the onus is on one to back that claim. Until that is done - and it won't be, because the claim is false - it is absolutely fine to dismiss it.

But is he really gay?  Or does he just say he's gay to appeal to conservatives who want to pretend that they aren't homophobes?  It wouldn't shock me if the guy was a fraud.

I see people talk about "the left" and it doesn't resemble my stance at all and I would count myself as being on the left. It seems, that especially in the US the term is unrecognisable from the usage anywhere else.

To me the left is about equality and ensuring that people, all people have a reasonable quality of life. That the wealth is shared in a equitable fashion and no one is exploited.

The right are about intrenching inequality not providing for others, xenophobia and nationalism.

You know that's a fair question! It's hard to define actually especially for me because I used to be considered what's known in the US as a leftist. Liberals used to be all about free speech, against unjust wars, social justice, etc. It's kind of devolved though through moral relativeness to mean whatever they think it should be because there are no absolutes. For example, if words are hurtful, those words should be banished, even though it's free speech. If it's offensive, then the person who spoke such words should be blamed for the repercussions of said speech, or death since they brought it upon themselves, for not filtering their speech through the modern PC culture. Victims of drawing muhamed for example. It's almost become a PC crime to speak the truth about certain things. Abortion for example is clearly the killing of unborn children. They like to call them fetuses. Tell that to the mother who has a party to reveal the sex of her unborn child. She doesn't refer to her child as a fetus, only those that intend to kill their kids say that. Abortion always will be the preemptive extermination of undesirables to purify the human race through the practice of eugenics, which was pushed as a freedom for women to have the choice to kill their unborn children.

Nationalism is simply self determination to rule through democratic sovereignty and representatives locally rather than globalism which is un-elected bureaucrats who rule outside the national borders. Borders are what maintain common culture, and prevent alien cultures from invasion and subversion.

I was thinking the same about Obama, probably a white guy straight from the trailer park who black faced his way to the top on a bandwagon of white guilt.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I was with you up to.

Quote: Abortion for example is clearly the killing of unborn children.

Here.
I know its an Emotive issue but the results of not giving state run abortions are always worse.
Either you end up with more mouths to feed than be accommodated or you have women or their pertners doing all sorts of terrible things to try and get rid of the unwanted children.
Back street abortions were big in the UK, with people taking dodgy drugs and poking around with coat hangers and other things!

We didn't count the children as anything until she was here months pregnant because miss carriages are so common in the early stages. Indeed that happened to us

That is a rather rosey view of nationalism and a childish view on globalism.
Nations can rule through democratic process, ( America does not count as a democracy by the way its a constitutional republic, Trump lost the popular vote but got elected anyway).
I have heard the phrase unelected linked to globalism before, but in Europe that meant the EU which held regular elections and as a body used proportional representation of delegates of member states.
Or are you talking of business globalisation which will happen no matter what.
"Alien cultures, invasion, subversion" really! you prove my point about xenophobia.
The world changes and adding diversity adds to your culture it doesn't take away.
In the UK our most popular dish, our national dish if you like is Chicken Tikka Massala we use shampoo and do yoga. In our shops are a range of polish sausages. These are additions and the UK is better for it.

Lol and you think this render him illegitimate?

Except it's the duty of the one making the claim to present the evidence. I can choose not to believe in bullshit.

Yep. Absolutely. Legend has it that in 2002 Milo disappeared without trace from a restaurant. He was having his meal and suddenly, just "poof", he was gone. No single trace. Eye witnesses claim they saw bright lights and heard strange voices. Milo reappeared out of nowhere in 2003 but many believe he was kidnapped by aliens and he isn't himself anymore. It also explains why he suddenly jumped from bashing gamers to supporting them. It's all very strange and I don't think anyone's safe out there for one second. Whatever happens, just don't lose your book of conspiracy theories, keep it locked up safe, the survival of humanity depends on it. God speed brother.

I have never seen him provide a statistic that doesn't behave in a similar manner.  Like I said, I am not going to go through all of Milo's quotes and point them all out.  Just giving you an honest interpretation of Milo.
He's no more legitimate than any other political pundit that tries to pass off their position on an issue as fact.
