What can be considered good in this list was already established long before the Jews decided they were good ideas.

Jesus didn't even endorse all 10.

WTF ?????????
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to though Wink

I have no problem avoiding other gods, so I'm good to go.

Shame they didn't get rape, slavery and torture up there. One would almost think he was okay with those things.

"Have no other gods but me".

First of all, that hurts the logic portion of my brain. It would have to say "No gods at all."

Secondly, why would I give such a murder happy and jealous god preferential treatment over other gods?

There are better ideals to live off of.

You shall have no other Gods but me.

- too many words. Who the hell is me?

You shall not make for yourself any idol, nor bow down to it or worship it.

- I make any idol I want and do with it as I want, what I shall not do is to tell others what to do with it.

You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

- if misuse means to use it as if it refers to a real thing, then fine.

You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy.

- no I won't.

Respect your father and mother.

- that really depends a lot on the father and mother in question

You must not commit murder.

- probably observable.

You must not commit adultery.

- probably not.

You must not steal.

- right. I do want to get ahead and I do live in a capitalist system now headed by trump

You must not give false evidence against your neighbor.

- give evidence?

You must not be envious of your neighbour's goods. You shall not be envious of his house nor his wife, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.

- what else is capitalism good for?

Isn't there something about not covering your neighbour's ass in marmite?
