Pyongyang/Why capitalism isn't a form of gov.

Not my point. I agree, but capitalism is still not a form of government. The Un family is tolerated but not as well liked by China as they once were. The Un family is still rich though. The political "capitalism" they have is like a fucking brat holding their breath until they get the candy, IE threatening war. China along with even America and much of the world simply throw them enough bones to keep it at bluster and chest pounding. But even their propaganda takes money. You can force your society to put on those military parades, but even with force, those millions kissing your ass at the parade have to eat.

North Korea is a capitalist country, as all are nations on the planet, North Korea simply sucks at it.

I'm not sure the hotel confirms the "they suck at it" hypothesis as well as it confirms the "they are fucking nuts" hypotheses.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

THANK YOU MINN, I agree. Now while I don't think Trump can make us North Korea even he manages not to tweet us into a war, and even if we make it 8 years, the problem with him is the TONE he sets for all politicians of either party. You cant mix business with politics. You can have government contract private businesses, yes, and I am fine with that. But to claim he is separate from his businesses or his kids are, is utter bullshit, it is a facade, and while it cant kill our anti monopoly concept overnight, the way he and his family are behaving has the potential, without anti monopoly enforcement and strict  bans on Emollient clauses the potential for a one party Kleptocracy is a potential.

Minn out of anyone here knows and accepts I am not anti private sector. Just anti abuse and anti monopoly. Any power that gains a monopoly, needs funds to maintain it.

They suck at providing to more people. They are still great at bilking their society through their own greed and blackmail of the rest of the world. Un even had an amusement park built that nobody uses often. Also an Aspen like Ski resort in their mountains that nobody uses. The family is really a ponzi scheme based on military blackmail by threatening other nations.

The private sector built that capital. It is just that the general population doesn't benefit from it as much as party loyalists and the family.

Wish that worked for religion. "Hey look, we have a telescope",

Theist, even Russians Orthodox Christian Majority and Muslims, "Yea but you don't hate LGBT like we do".

Science, "Um, hey guys, the medical community and psychiatric community has long since ditched the claim being homosexual is bad".

Christians, both American and Russian, "So what?"

Muslims, "So what and we will kill them".

I hate the word "system" and "ideology" and "religion". Yes they do exist, and you cannot force 7 billion humans to think on the same page. But all the labels humans invent still amount to attempts to make social order. Science says in reality that in the long term, no matter what complicated "systems" humans create, the success is still temporary in  cosmic time.

I'd only say that more open west is in tune to the compassionate side of our species, but even then, there is a far right element in closed societies and even in the west, that gets sold tribalism and absolute "my way" nationalism/theism which is the selfish side of our species.

Q: What does capitalism have to do with forms of government?

A: Not a goddamned thing, it's an economic system.
