Went for another ride yesterday

Apparently there was a temple festival nearby so lights were everywhere and crackers were bursting:

Careful shopping can land you a good deal. They can be really good guitars for the money ... and they can be dogs as well. My rule of thumb is always "play before you pay".
This one is a decent one. I need to tweak the trussrod and add a couple of springs to the tremolo. The only thing I don't like on it is the fretwork -- it's a little jagged at spots. But at this price, it kinda comes with the territory.

One of my favorite things about a Strat is how it feels wearing it, it's very snug to the body without being uncomfortable at all. Probably has the best ergonomics of any electric guitar. And yes, the sexiest.
