I never heard of the guy before he ran for office, but maybe he's just not used to dealing with people as equals. He expects to be a big macho man who bullies people into submission.

According to the GOP poverty is genetic, based on being Hispanic or Arab, and you know everyone from those places are evil. It'ts great politics, whites have been vilifying blacks in America forever, so at least they don't discriminate.
