RE: Mike Pence casts deciding vote to advance Trumpcare
Quote:Schumer says Senate Democrats will not block votes on healthcare amendments

U.S. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats will not block efforts by Republicans to vote on Tuesday night on amendments to a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.

“We’ll have to see what they propose, but we don’t mind having a few votes tonight,” Schumer told reporters after the Senate voted with no Democratic support to open debate on healthcare reform.

That is not saying they are going to support or consider a repeal, Dems are unified against it. It is a tactical move to let the crybabies on the right have their billionth waste of tax payer money vote so the GOP cant say they stopped it.  Dems know that there are too many different factions in the GOP in any case that the reconciliation wont work in any case. Schumer is basically letting the GOP fall on their face.

I wonder, would it be that hard to get Trumply to turn on Pence ??

And how tenaciously would Pence hold on if it was clear Trumply wanted him out ??

Given that his management style seems like that of a psychopath, it wouldn't surprise me. I dislike Jeff Sessions intensely, but what Trump is doing to him is vicious. If he can turn on his loyal A.G., he can turn on anyone.

That's what put me in mind of seeing Pence shown the door. By all accounts, the specific complaint Trumply has regarding Sessions is specious, even to the extent it is casting Trumply himself as highly suspect in the commission of a high crime(s) or misdemeanor(s).

And my overriding concern is Trumply being impeached while Pence is still veep. I'm sufficiently suspicious of Pence to wonder what machinations he is up to regarding getting his boss sacked.

Repeal and Maybe Replace Later failed 45-55

Whatever shall McConnell do now?

Hold his breath until he turns blue, perhaps?

Dear Republicunts,

Watching you hang by your balls and twist in the wind has touched my heart.  I pity you, prisoners of your own rhetoric and captives of the greediest of the greedy because you are greedy fucks, too.  I offer you a suggestion.

1.  Repeal "Obamacare."

2.  Don't touch the Affordable Care Act of 2010.

3.  This way you can tell the cretins who make up your base that you have indeed repealed "Obamacare" and kept your promise.  I assure you that the dimwits who vote for you do not know that there is no program called "Obamacare."  If you tell them you repealed it, they will believe you.  More important, the dickheads on FOX will trumpet your success.

Since I think you are too stupid and partisan to embrace single-payer - which is the only way out of our dilemma - this is the best possible resolution for the predicament you find yourselves in.

A straight up repeal ain't happening either.

This do-nothing Congress and executive branch is pathetic and knows not how to govern, though I'm thrilled their toxic agenda is stalled.

The GOP shit their pants because a black guy became president and this is what it really is all about. For Trump he's just being a vindictive dick because Obama picked on him to his face at the press conference dinner.

The GOP are nothing but petty spiteful assholes.

Single-payer goes down to defeat.

http://www.businessinsider.com/senate-he...ent-2017-7

Doesn't matter.... it was a republicunt trojan horse.

Bernie is waiting for his time.

Quote: In a twist that exemplifies just how wild the healthcare debate has been, on Thursday the Senate voted on a single-payer healthcare plan. Introduced by a Republican. Who doesn't support it.
The plan, proposed as an amendment to the House bill by Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, was called the Expanded & Improved Medicare For All Act.
It was overwhelmingly voted down, with the 57 voting "no" and many Democrats choosing to vote "present." There wasn't a single "yes" vote.

Murricans are tired of their failure.

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/07/majority...re-reform/

Quote:Majority of Americans want Congress to move on from healthcare reform

Quote:Nearly two-thirds of the country wants to either keep or modify the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare, and a majority of Americans want Congress to turn its attention to other priorities, the survey found.

Apparently, Murricans want to see what else the republicunts can fuck up.

I wonder if the Trumptards are tired of all that "winning" yet?
