I'm not sure I I understand what you're trying to say here..but taken literally, no..the theory doesn;t depend on an interpretation of these organisms.  It depends upon a mechanism for descent with modification, which exists...and variable rates of reproduction and mortality between modified individuals in a population...which happens.  Natural selection is simply the notion that individuals with an environmental advantage will be more reproductively successful, thus leading to over representation in the gene pool.

There is nothing in the Qur'an that's so remarkable that no human being could have come up with its contents. It's clearly a man-made book. And what you think is a scientific miracle in the Qur'an is just post-hoc interpretations (based on modern science) of verses that are either so vague they say anything you want them to say or don't even literally support what the science says.

Who's the theory writer? And when did they say anything about errors or mistakes with respect to evolution? Mutations are more like random changes rather than mistakes/errors.

There's nothing remarkable about that being in the Qur'an. It's clearly something thought up by human beings who made observations and/or easily made speculations based on such observations. You don't need to be a scientist to suspect darkness in the depths of the waters or wherever.

Even if that was a valid interpretation of the verse you're referring to, it's still nothing remarkable. But the funny thing is that the verse isn't at all saying that the mountains are moving. It's referring to the future times when even the mountains will pass away. It's referring to the end of days, not to some remarkable scientific fact that could only have been confirmed by today's science. Shaking my head at you, I am.
