Christianity a scam?

RE: Christianity a scam?
What about the members of the 1st SS Panzer Division?  They gladly died for their fuhrer.

Humans believing bullshit and acting accordingly is far too common an example in history to mean much of anything.

I think CL is saying that if you are part of a scam and a lie from its inception, and that you took part and participated in the full knowledge that what you are saying and teaching is not true, then you are less likely to be willing to die for it.

As opposed to being taken in by a con, and believing things which simply are not true.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

No. We aren't saying bc they died for it that it happened. We are saying bc they died for it they obviously didn't think it was a hoax that they were supposedly part of.

Unless they also got scammed...

Or, convinced themselves that the scam wasn't a scam...

Or, got killed over the scam, then the "historians" glossed over the truth and handed the glossed over tales down for 50-70 years until somebody finally wrote them down...

The possibilities are quite numerous when you can't even prove those people actually lived.

Your beliefs are simply beliefs, not truths. No matter how many times you click those ruby slippers and chant "There's nothing like truths."

There is nothing like truth and I believe in truth. No need for ruby slippers I have the living God for my truths.

You do?!! Where is she? Can you post a photo of her?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

So when cornered to show some evidence you just change the subject like any charlatan. I mean you understand how this makes you look like?

Holy non sequitur. Are the followers of the Joseph Smith scam aware that it's all a con?

It's pretty clear everyone at the top of the Mormon org chart is fully aware of the profound level of connivance and perfidy Old Horny Joe Smith inflicted on his 'church'.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Is there some kind of prize for posting the highest number of non sequiturs in a row that I am unaware of?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
