Yeah, totally not fascism or anything like that.  This is just crazy.  What's next?  "All scientific claims must start with "God"?"  Republicans will quietly gloss over this, acting like this is totally normal.

How can you operate in the CDC and NOT use these words. How will they refer to a child in utero? Beanie Baby? What possible rationale could one have for banning the term evidence-based? That's bullshit.

I think the rationale is they don't want to use evidence or science!!!

You all seem to be assuming this was a directive from Trump. Does the article say that? I can't access it, but from what I've read elsewhere, it seems that the directive originated internally at HHS or CDC, not from the White House.

It also seems like this may be an interpretation of what was said.  From what I seen in another article which didn't appear to stem from the Washington Post.
