Disagree. The ‘ancestral home’ argument carries substantial weight. That particular bit of the Middle East belonged to Jews for at least two millennia before Mohammed was a gleam in the milkman’s eye.

The trouble isn’t that they’re there, it that they don’t feel that other people with a legitimate  claim merit equal consideration.

Palestine belongs to its native Palestinian people, the land belongs to these natives, not to invaders.

Ask a member of one of the 3 abrahamic religions, if you know one.  Hilarious

Less than 10% of all Israelis currently alive were born when the state of Isreal was founded. Thus, 90% of all Israelis didnt, and possbily couldnt ever have, *invaded* Palestine but were born there.  Think

Also please drop that insanely stupid "Zionist" crap.
Israel =!= all Israelis =!= Zionist

Thats insanely ignorant, even by your own stadards. At least it should be, but much like Trump you are one bag of wonders   Hehe

And before Jews that same land was occupied by polytheists.

The earliest residents of Palestine were the Canaanites, the cultural ancestors of the Israelites.

In other words, the ‘native Palestinian people’ you refer to are Israelites, or (if you prefer) Jews.

This isn’t to say that modern Palestinians didn’t get horrible treatment and a raw deal - they absolutely did.  It’s a shonda the way they’ve been treated.

Utterly immaterial and completely beside the point.

If history repeats, some terrorist act will derail this.

Maybe not. It’s only a terrorist act if a Palestinian throw a rock. If Israel responds with a missile barrage, it’s called ‘national defense’.

Imo both parties/factions have deserved each other, to some degree.

‘Degree’ is what matters. The way Israel responds to Palestinian ‘attacks’ is like me firebombing your house because you shortchanged me at the market.

If it was just kids throwing rocks, the issue of "whose fault is it" would have been settled: "Israel responds to rocks with bullets". But its not.

As you already said: The crux is that each faction does not acknowledge the rightfulness of the claim of the other faction on Palestine.
