Colorful language from Rachel in that article.

Anyways, the total emigration statistics for the U.S. are convoluted, and I have a hard time finding aggregate tables of the stats.

I figure if I'm ever going to leave this forsaken country, Trump's reelection is as good a time as any.

I simply do not want to be stuck here when the right begins to make things go seriously sideways.

I know Joe Rogan left California because he was tired of how locked up everything was. He moved to Texas!

Yeehaw - I like Texas okay but I don't interact much with the natives.  I am in an area that has a very diverse population.  We seem quite removed from the perceived stereotypical cowboys and goat ropers.

It's a whole lot better than the 20 years I spent in Bumfuck, South Carolina.

I'm a member of an antique truck forum. One member has pictures of his beach home with "Trump 2020" door mats. I guess that that is actually a good place for them, since I'd gladly wipe my shoes on them, but he's likely going to vote for the chump (again). Rolleyes I talked to one of my younger brothers today. During our conversation, he let on that he likes the chump.  Panic I thought that the people in my family were smarter than that.  Huh

BoT, my wife is not on board with leaving the country if the chump gets the presidency again. I won't even call the first time a "win", tbh. Lots of reasons not to leave, in spite of what a hot mess the chump is making of this country. One of my sons works at a local big box hardware store. Their business went to zero and employees sat as long as two hours after they were off work because there was a parade through the store parking lot that extended back over a mile. The local PD was breaking up fights and getting the traffic moving so that people could get into and out of the mall. Dafuq is wrong with these people?   Huh
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Not long ago my brother had posted pictures of his lake house with a ginormous Trump banner hanging from the upstairs balcony.  My nephew called my mom a couple months ago and told her that the virus is a Democratic hoax and it'll all be gone after the election.  Then his dad, my beloved baby brother, caught COVID.  Yeah, they still love The Donald.

Things have been calm in our little town and I seldom venture out of it.  I don't want to get too close to Dallas when this election stuff really gets down to the wire.

I imagine many Jews during Hitler’s time said the same thing.
