There are multiple people that have been verified as having long ties with Trumps political movement that were identified in the storming of the capital. Including an elected official from W-VA.
I'm not aware of any evidence that antifa was in the crowd?
If you want to withhold judgement of who was responsible for the bombs...cool, that's fine.
"It's just as likely that some extreme leftists planted the shit to be found" -- But this is...just not true. Neither by any rational reflection of the events that occurred, or by some weird attempt at a Bayesian analysis.
What you are attempting to explain here, I think, is you are suggesting that we are engaging in an availability bias when we assume that the bombs were planted by trump supporters. So it wouldn't necessarily be inaccurate to say that we are "More than likely overestimating the likelihood that the bombs were planted by a trump supporter relative to other possible groups that may have planted the bombs".

I think it's also worth asking...How much does the knowledge of who planted the bombs actually affect our assessment of the Storming of the Capitol?
Can we not just ignore that the bombs were planted and still condemn violent trump supporters for attempting a coup?
It would seem as though the only reason to invoke the lack of certainty we have about "who" planted the bombs, would be to so we can "what about" an attempted coup and shift the conversation to antifa?

No bombs no coup, you can't have one. Also, if it doesn't work. No bombs or doesn't work - not a coup.
If it was a coup, or if there were bombs, the other guys did it.
If the guys who did it..did it and it was...what it was, that's meh, cuz the other side does it too.

For every person that stormed the capital, there was a family and friends who helped them, and a large contingent who encouraged them and continue to lie on their behalf.

The problem with the falseflag operation theory is that what the lunatic right is doing is exactly what Antifa and other groups wanted them to do, that is being demonstrably idiots. The "leftists" can sit on their hands and laugh joyously. BUT, if they get in there with the morons they're in danger of giving the hard(headed) Right a "just as bad" excuse. They didn't need to be waving a false flag, the stupid flag flew high.

The whole Antifa false-flag theory also doesn't make any sense with respect to who Antifa is. They are like soccer hooligans. They want a fist fight with a bone-fide fascist. They aren't actually the ones destroying things.
Still, lock up everyone who corrupts protests with violence.

I don't think this logic actually follows very well.
The left wants to demonstrate that the right is crazy and fascist.
So the left wouldn't commit a false flag to make them look crazy and fascist.
It seems like this is just begging the question about what a false flag is.
And...I guess I should be careful to clarify...anyone claiming that they think this is a false flag...currently is out of their minds.

Antifa wants them to go away, forever, not to storm the capitol. The entire point of antifa is to prevent that from ever happening again........
