I suspect that religionists donate primarily to churches, which giving does bugger all to help poor kids in Africa.
Similarly, I believe that starving children in Africa are more the fault of corrupt African governments than an imagined lack of donations by atheists.

If it were a problem that secular giving could solve, it'd be solved by now.

The US gives more because it's a richer nation and I also point out Atheism isn't organized religion that has a vested interest in using charity to promote itself and who the heck said the UK is an Atheist paradise there are countries with a far larger population of Atheist then Britain.

Also what the hell does how much Atheists donate have to do with forgiving student debt. This sounds like trolling.

Why did you delete polarbear's posts? I understand he was banned as a sock, but deleting the posts screws up the thread.

That was my one option. Seems a few things may be different since the board was down.
Most of his posts were replied to so they can still be read.

Ronald Reagan would like a word with you: "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" ring any bells?
Bueller? Buelller?
Republicans have consistently messaged over the last few decades that government involvement is a negative.

True, but that said, given how he throws a hissy fit every time someone tries to put a label on his beliefs, I think it's safe to assume he's not actually a Republican. If I were to try and figure it out, I'd say his views seem to lie somewhere in between Timothy McVeigh-adjacent libertarian and that kid from high school you were afraid was going to go postal one day.
