Jesus in revelation 3:16 is disgusted by moderate christians. Where will lukewarm/moderate christians will end up according to Bible?

Revelation 3:16 "But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!".

Apparently Jesus would prefer boiling hot water poured into his mouth. That would have been just as well because the result would likely have been a significantly less bloody and stagnant next 2000 years for humanity.
