Hi from scared Holubice
RE: Hi from scared Holubice
Ok I'll play.
Life began on this planet either by abiogenesis or pans permia
We know that evolution is a proven fact.
Therefore, baring the complete destruction of all life forms, there would be life forms on the planet at this time
So the likelyhood that there is an animal that is top of the food chain is 100%.
Man just happens to currently fill this role.
So in short some animal would be in a dominant postion and at the moment it happens to be us.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Oh dear, not that old creationist canard about probability...

Who wants to fire the broad sides?

Edit: Dpb got to it first. I was too busy taking my sweet time to compose. Well done, old bean.

Executor, I wonder about how futile such an endeavour would be regarding the target. He just wants baby jesus points...

@Holubice: Haven't you realized that by showing those pictures, you still fail to correlate them to your particular god? Even if we couldn't understand NOTHING about them, there is still nothing that points to your 'friend'. It is enough for me, and since you claim to have been 'gifted' with words on your first posts, why is it that you rehash the same old religious rethoric? Do you realize that a probabilistic event is random, it happens in an instant, while the universe while chaotic is deterministic? That there is a cumulative process? And you claim for other people's knowledge... In the end its a sad story of a deluded fellow.

Essentially Poet, as for my N.D.E. I don't believe God exists. I'm sure He exists. And, essentially, I want to divert your mind in all the way I can. Nobody pay me for these efforts, it's an attempt a man does to avoid you a great mistake you are doing, and I was doing few time ago. If you have read the content of near death experience in the first link in my first post now you know that 1 person on 5 that wake up form road accident or heart attack they report the same identical story but almost nobody believe them. Now I know why the evolution theory which, as any theory could be proven wrong, is so widely accepted: men wish to delete God completely from their lives as they dislike to be respectful to all the commandments He has given to us. The hypothesis all the incredible prefect mechanisms in life has come true from nothing is the song our ears wants to listen to. just now I have realised it.

Is that the reason you find to believe god? and why the Xtian god? Couldn't be that you were meeting shiva, thor, zeus? You never had dreams? Another thing, I'm accepting you really had an NDE yourself, you know, you aren't the first NDE bullshit thrower around here, nor you'll be the last. I remain untouched by your story.

Only fools are absolutely sure of anything

What? I'm going to hell? Nah, not scared. Not going to heaven? Not expecting to. I have accepted that my death will be the end of me and there is nothing special about it. However I die its cool. Don't worry for me, I'm not. To paraphrase a pop singer: I'm not afraid of dying, I just don't want to

1 in 5? Man that's bad odds old fellow. What did the other 4 dreamed about? Did you expect someone that suffered a traumatic accident to have clear thoughts?

Yes it can! But everyone failed, why? Have you any knowledge on how science works? Have you even mildly read a highscholl biology book? And what have some 'commandements' on a book from the bronze age have to do with genetic variation over time due to selective pressure? My advice, read more, learn more.

How are there mechanisms perfect? Are you perfect? Do you live in the real world? The 'perfection' you see is the result of at least 3.5*10^9 years of constant binding, trying, failing. And still we're not perfect. You know nothing, you are just a sorry guy that wants to score some points to his imaginary friend, expecting confirmation from people that know better. Get a proper education, see the world as it is not as you want it to be, and mabe then, you be ok with yourself.

So... Let's compute possibility event "MAN"

You appear to be under the common assumption that humanity is the logical product of Evolution.

This is a misapprehension, Evolutions only requirement is to produce lifeforms that can survive and reproduce in their environment.

Nothing more.

So whilst the chances of humanity appearing are indeed vanishingly low, so what?

You can make the same statement about any species, indeed even the ones that had the potential to appear but didn't.

So the actual statistical likelihood of Homo Sapiens arising is 1.

And also for the other picture I posted:

I reply with this:

Quote:"I think it's perfectly possible to explain how the universe came about without bringing God into it, but I don't know everything, and there may well be a God somewhere, hiding away. Actually, if he is keeping out of sight, it's because he's ashamed of his followers and all the cruelty and ignorance they're responsible for promoting in his name. If I were him, I'd want nothing to do with them."
