The U.N. doesn't make laws. They can draft resolutions or declarations that some countries can sign.

AI is a technology that can lead to injustice or Skynet. At most, the U.N. will create a declaration on the ethics of AI that countries are free not to sign.

I fail to see how the other declarations that the U.N. have come up with contribute to our enslavement. Things like the declaration of human rights, or rights of the refugee.
