Naturally, the GOP candidates who are happy to let Ukraine be overrun are full of support for Israel.

It's worth noting that, in many Evangelical circles, they support Israel specifically because they expect it to, in the words of Shea and Wilson, "immanetize the eschaton." Of course, they'll likely say it's more to bring about the Second Coming of Christ, but that's a distinction that doesn't really have much of a difference.

Too bad their beneficiaries in Israel remain largely ignorant (or choose to  ignore) what happens to them in Christian prophecy.

Turns out the Hebrews were Canaanites all along.  Lived with their livestock among the olive trees and vineyards of the hill country to the north of Jerusalem, which became Samaria, and to the south, which became Judah. Some of the latter might have had an interlude in the Nile delta, but they're all, basically, from the West Bank.  At some point the tribes federated.  Rome did a number on them, but at no time where there zero Hebrews in Palestine.

Europeans are extreme capitalists, you become a problem to them when you "cost them money".
Many European Jews costed European capitalists money, the wealthy Jews remained in Europe, but the poor were kicked out to either die in the desert or invade Palestinian homes and prosper.

It's all about the cash, Europe's support for a Jewish country in the Middle East is only to bring cash to the European governments.
Once Israel becomes an economic burden, they will get rid of it. Just like they did with hundreds of other countries and rulers.
