Mo66, to be honest, even though what you say is not impossible, your story if very highly unlikely and if it is true, that person is probably mentally ill. Therefore while it's illogical for him to believe in the Satan character and not in God and as you said does it on experience, it's possible such a person is mentally ill, and has hallucinations.
Jinn...I use to hallucinate about them spiritually as well once had a physical hallucination when it was purplish blue. I don't believe in Jinn anymore.
I take medications and the hallucinations stop. If it was real jinn and all that, I'm sure medications would not be able to stop them  .

If this friend is addicted to hard drugs(as I think was said), said delusions wouldn't be surprising. (I think...?)
