You are allowed to respond to whomever you like, just play nice and quit the personal abuse. That goes for everybody else as well.

I'm trying It's hard though because personal abuse is entrenched and enshrined in the forum, I kind of had to adapt to the vile nature of a lot of members on here. In the vast majority of forums I'm a member of, personal insults are banned in toto.

I know off-topic stuff is relaxed around here, but on a sticky thread, off-topic should be kept to a minimum.... and almost 10 pages of off-topic are not ok, if you ask me.

I find you suitably parsimonious with your belief. As an agnostic myself, I too invest no belief in whatever these 'god' things may be. You can very reasonably not believe in gods without claiming to know they do not exist.

This reminds me of the evening I spent holding a bag and hollering "snipe, snipe, here snipe". None came so I went home with my bag empty. It must not be that hard to catch them because when I got home everyone laughed at me for failing to catch any. Now I can't verify that any snipe exist and I never got a very good description of one anyway. So I am an agsnipist for the same reason I am agnostic. Funny thing is, the very same people who sent me out to bag a snipe also told me I would know the lord if I prayed. Sometimes I think I was raised by pranksters.
