Sandwich debate.

Sandwich debate.
I don't know whether any of you have thought about this or had discussions on it before, but I shall go ahead and try to get your opinion on this.

If you have a sandwich made from 2 full slices of bread, and cut it in half, would you have 2 sandwiches or would it simply be 2 halfs of the same sandwich.

I believe that it would remain as the same sandwich. However, if you cut the slices of bread before making it then you would have 2 sandwiches...

This seemed to have caused quite a divide amongst my friends and I.

What do you think of this?

If you buy a pre packed sandwich and take it
home and up on removing it from the wrapper
cut it in half you will then have four quarters as
opposed to two halves but the surface area is the
same as before so the answer must be no. As you
do not have an extra two sandwiches but two extra
portions of the same sandwich. A sandwich has two
slices of bread covering a vegetable or meat fillng but
it has to be regulation size otherwise it does not qualify
as a sandwich. So slicing it in half will not make another
Sandwiches may vary in thickness but not in surface area

Oh stop being a cry baby...I got my OWN fkn sandwich...why the hell did you think I went racing off to the fridge?? Angry

YOU brought up the topic of sandwiches now that I have had mine... I am thinking that it all depends on what you define as a "sandwich" as Twoc said

I had a Sandwhich made of two slices of bread (filled with ymmy stuff from dinner) I cut it in half (one must always remember one is a lady) and I etted it! Razz

Now IF I was to take ONE slice of bread then I would have a half a "sandwich" in my terms.... still yummy Hungry
