RE: Name that religion
Ah ok... New Age makes sense. I just had no idea as I've never been around anyone with this belief system. She's... different! Thank you guys!!! At the very least, she keeps us all laughing as she's very entertaining!

RE: Name that religion
She honestly sounds like a little fruit cup.

By that I mean, if she hears something she likes from any random religion/spiritualism - she cherry picks it (fruit) and incorporates it into the cup.

Eventually, she's got a hodge podge of belief systems that she has morphed into one nice little word she calls, "spiritual", but the truth is, she only knows a tiny bit about each of the little facets of her own cooked up "religion."

Basically, she's a fruit cup ... more commonly known as a poser. Well, at least that's what it sounds like to me.

Ah, I completely get that and it makes perfect sense. She does seem to jump on whatever bandwagon she is following at the time. She has books on all kinds of different religions and said she got mad that her sister talked about "god" all of the time and she refuses to go to the Catholic church with her husband so I knew Christianity was not her preference.

She's the most entertaining person to ever talk to... with "spirits" and all. If I could teach her how to use a computer, you guys would just love her! (As in be constantly questioning and amused at her stories... she has tons of them).

I outed myself to her this weekend that I am an Atheist and not sure how she took it... but oh well!
