This is what you get from corporatism unfortunately. Someone needs to close all the loopholes and make taxation simple again.
Crony capitalism, corporatism, loopholes in taxes....these all have one thing in common

Well, the vast majority of Americans agree with what you say, so I am in the very small minority on this one. Personally, I consider them dead wrong. This is the direct result of capitalism, as in the golden rule "He who has the gold, makes the rules." Political corruption cannot be weeded out from a system that is based upon profit, in a system where some are winners and the rest are losers, there will ALWAYS be political corruption. the winners will always pull the strings, and the govt will be shaped to fit the winners needs and wants.

Where each law is far more brutal and punishing than the last. Men are forced to work. Women to breed. (Or vice versa depending on whose in charge) Everyone to worship their gloriouis leader as a god and accept their rightful place. After all, the secret of government success is the brutality.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
