Americans: Bernie Sanders or Hilary Clinton

Who do you support and why?
I am not American but I like Bernie Sanders. He has a Bachelor of science with experience in film making, meaning he is more artistically and scientifically literate. He has lots of experience behind him and a voting record that backs up what he says. He is willing to take a strong stance on environmental change, make reasonable reform to immigration, and will stop much of the neoconservative foreign policy that was continued largely under Obama.
Also I see Hilary as largely like Obama in policy, good and bad, but even more so judging by her background and campaign she is largely a big money Democrat. Also instead of the good background Bernie has she is essentially a trained arguer.

I am for Bernie because he is left of Hillary especially with banks and Wall Street. Free higher education and single payer.
But, Hillary will still make a better president than any backwoods fuck the poor Republican.
And if she were to win, she would still have Warren and Sanders to keep pressure on her not to cave in to the right.
But ultimately we cannot afford anymore corporate welfare and corporate blackmail waged by the right that has forced even Dems to play that game

Well I would argue that Obama and Hilary are not truly left wing politicians. By international standards I would say they are centrists or moderate right wingers.

I'll vote for the candidate the Democratic party puts forward and I hope that will be Bernie. But if he isn't nominated I'll support the candidate he supports, most likely Hillary. Elizabeth Warren's day will come .. I hope.

What you say is true and I much prefer Bernie. I will support his run first. But I do worry that in a general election he might be harder to elect than Hillary. But I'd be happy to take that bet if he can win the nomination. Maybe the more radically liberal youth would support him in great enough numbers to compensate those democrats who would be put off by him.

I'm for Bernie, because he's fighting against the establishment, and working outside of the super packs and such. I believe he's more genuine than Hillary about making the country better, and cleaning out corruption. I don't want to say I'm a democrat. I'm just for someone who is actually looking out for the people, and Bernie has become quite popular very fast.
The establishment doesn't like him, including the ones on the democrat side, which is why I've been hearing that there aren't many democratic debates at all. Bernie's not going for the he said she said stuff. he just talks policies. Anyone who worries the current establishment is likely someone I want to see get in office.
I think he can win, despite having to fight against both parties. I'm afraid if he gets into office, he might get assassinated, though. Not that I didn't expect that to happen to Obama too.

Yes they are left, but just like parents, they deal with bratty children in the candy Isle, they shove the candy down their throats just to shut them up so they don't completely burn down the entire store.
But that is also a result of republican gerrymandering an Democratic voter apathy year after year which has forced our side to play more of their game rather than punching back.
The only way to stop and reverse the GOP grip is to raise our voices everywhere everyday and beat them at the polls.

Hilary is certainly to the right of Obama. So by European standards he's more of a centrist, but Hilary would be considered rightwing. Of course not as rightwing as the batshit crazies running for the other side, but still good for another war or two.

Get this right, because it isn't just about Hillary. There is huge difference between being on the right and beimg pulled to the right. For the past 30 years the rich and the right have ppainted the left as anti businesses and anti religion and our side keeps caving in to prove we are not those things.
Instead we should be saying fuck you to them and not allow them to control that narrative with fearomgering that has pulled politics to the ecomic right.

But that's because of institutionalized bribery. No politician can hope to win if they don't get campaign donations. And if they do win, the favors are called in. Mafia style.
I think it was in 1978 when corporations got human rights to donate to political campaigns. In my opinion that's at the source of the evil and the negative selection of American politicians.
