My father was a mental health counselor so I would take a quasi-professional view of a person who feels the need to go out of their way to tell me that. Because they would be going out of their way and that would tell me they have issues with themselves.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
