Soooo......
Hubba. 2x.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

PS - dudes, leather gloves caressing cheeks and necks...totally hot. Being affectionate with good accessories cannot be overstated as a seduction tool.

Your freckles are way too cute to cover with makeup TSQ! Seriously, you're lovely. Too bad you scare the shit out of me!
Great photos. Great costumes. Love me some RenFest!
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I had 2 zombies, a victim(my nephew), and a butterfly zombie. The zombie making took several hours and it was not easy to get off either. Almost lost a few eyebrows lmao. But we had so much fun! Seriously awesome costumes! All that make-up...sooo much work. Love the whole family being zombies, even the little butterfly. Cutest zombies ever!

Also, amazing seamstress work! I used to do the SCA circuit when I was younger (nerdier version of Ren Faires) and I miss it so much. You make some great stuff, wish I could see more full shots!
Love your female space rogue costume, too.

While I have made dresses for the Faire before, that particular dress was made from separate pieces I had bought over the years. I haven't dressed up for the faire in years because I normally go as a photographer. This year, the photobombing friend offered to let me borrow her nicer camera if I would wear something boobylicious. Sold.
I did make dude's shirt and vest though, and that was fun - I haven't sewn clothing in a while either and it was really relaxing. His mother was impressed with my seam finishings so there's that I guess...

Hey, there is quite a lot to be said for nice seam finishes! The first things I sewed look pretty crappy on the inside, but I have learned to take pride in making things that look nearly as good on the inside as on the outside. So, take pride in that skill!
And great job on the shirt. Collars can be a bitch, but it looks fantastic. Edited to add, I can't see the vest, but based on the shirt, I'm sure it looks fantastic too!
