Why should your asking for the meaning of philosophy qualify you to post a woo thread in the philosophy section?  But good luck figuring out what philosophy is.
Hunch:  I'll bet for you, philosophy is intuitional philosophy the same way you see science as intuitional science.  Amirite?

Si, si i amirite, i always amirite.  Begging
But not.
Philosophy is much much more simple than you ever thought.
There is not much need to go deep in intuition to understand the meaning.
To get philosophy or wisdom instead you need a lot of intuition.  Lightbulb

In the Roman forum of the past there were no superior or inferior.  Demon
The plebe (low caste sort of) could speak out to high caste society
without fear to get in any sort of trouble.  Indubitably
In other words you put me down and i do the same with you but these days
somebody thinks that the rules can be changed.  Panic

Where did I put you down? You asked what philosophy means, I gave an answer, you responded like a spoiled child. Far as I'm concerned, I shall treat you like one.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I would have thought that you understand what you have written yesterday on the previous page?
Do you write without thinking what you write?  Thinking

Primitive guy holding a book and a sword
vs a guy with modern technology and highly advanced weaponry
That sums up the theists vs atheism debate.

You didn't consider that the primitive guy's stick was working until the old age while the modern
man stick is all bandy and worn out at an early age but as you say the modern technology is highly advanced so it discovered viagra
in order to straighten up the worn out stick.  Diablo
You never thought about it sandy, did you?  Lightbulb

Because well i dunno thousands of years people have been pandering there are gods fucking worship them or i'll
use my sword to make you believe in my god(s). Then you have other people with books  and swords going believe in our god(s)
the others are liars. No one has proof that a god(s) exists even if you don't follow a religion what proof do you even have.

Hmm how about this when mars becomes a colony we atheists and really smart people just leave you and the reset of you
morons on earth and let you pick up the  pieces from there after all you don't need smart people.

Also Tongue that got broken and thrown as soon as the internet came around.

Where did I put you down in the post you yourself chose to quote but not respond to?

It seems that you are getting a bit confused Stim.  Confused Fall
Let us make it more simple.  Lightbulb
When Anomalocaris ask......What is the metaphor for stupid, insane and conceited?.......
You reply.......Little Rik.
After this attack i sort of reply in the same manner by saying............. A type of mod. that move a thread from the philosophy forum to Skepticism & Pseudoscience forum and when asked what is the meaning of philosophy he doesn't reply.
Is this so difficult to understand?  Thinking

Fantasy, fantasy and more fantasy is what keep you alive.
You are a big dreamer sandy.
There is no such a thing as progress in this physical universe.
For every discovery there is ALWAYS a set back as i just show you in my previous example.
The positive and negative (yin & yang) always go hand in hand.
I already went through this topic in the past and nobody could contradict me with something that make any sense.  Lightbulb

No no no. You quoted my post about the meaning of philosophy. That was the post you - nobody else - you chose to attach your silly childish tantrum to. You've been asking me to explain what philosophy means, then when I do you ignore it and flap around like a hyperactive toddler on a sugar kick. I'm sorry, but I'm not playing stupid childish power games with a stupid childish baby. Either grow up and start acting like a mature and worthwhile member of the forum, or get the fuck out of my face before I'm tempted to slap you one. I am seriously not in the mood for your bullshit right now and I'm liable to bite. Hard.

I for one appreciate your objectivity.  As for the meaning of philosophy I would assume that is the sound of one hand fapping.  What do I win?
