"God is great, God is good.
Let us thank him for all our food.
By his hand, we all are fed.
Thank you, Lord, for this daily bread."

Aaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeeeeeennnnnnn.

Literally the same little ditty before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was one of the first things that made my brain uncomfortable.

I remember.

Our teacher made us recite almost exactly the same prayer in PUBLIC kindergarten...every day before snack-y time.
If I'd only known then, what I knew after I became a bit older:

"Bitch...You can't make us say that!"

The fact that the post is not in the original font format probably means it was copy pasted from somewhere.

Most likely OP doesn't even know what he posted or how it works.

Don't you heathens know the famous Aussie prayer?

2, 4, 6, 8, bog in, don't wait!

I thought everybody said that?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Sure, to make a scientific point you need both arguments and evidence.

You can prove things within an abstract system using just arguments, but to demonstrate things to be (most likely) true about reality, it needs to be bolstered with evidence.

I don't expect to get an answer to my question that in any way indicates that the poster has any real intellectual interest in the argument.

I'm not expecting any answer at all. He probably thinks he has "won" this forum and is onto the next one.

He didn't tell us what to convert to. He might end up creating more enemies out of potential allies.

I'm with Alex on this.

Quote:There are no uncaused things

What does this actually mean ? Aside from the statement being vague enough to not be utile, it may very well be false.
