Several of my classes use the Groupme App.
This way we can open the app and be in a group text for the whole class. I've used it to ask questions like "anything due tomorrow?" or "can I make an array of Classes for this program?"
I like it a lot.
I am currently browsing the forums, listening to Jefferson Starship.

I wish we had that option. Unfortunately, our class isn't like that and honestly, I'm the oldest in my class by at least 15 years. There's only one other person I actually like. The rest I tolerate. Their generation of "instant gratification" is nothing like my generation. The learning styles are entirely different for me than it is for them.

Why don't you have the option? I'm the oldest in one of my classes by 12 years or so, and I still use it. Not everyone in my classes chooses to get in on it (especially in my Computer Science classes with the introverted weirdos), but some do and the ones that do are the ones you want helping you. Sometimes people are just looking to be included on something.
If anything, it's a resource. If one person can answer your question or tell you where they found the answer, then it was helpful.

Feeling weak, stupid and helpless with a pulled muscle.
Beating the shit out of someone or something more helpless, should help me feel better again, right?
Awwww....I can't do it!

Technically, we don't get assigned "homework" per say. Everything is done in the classroom. At least, that's how it was for pre-salon. Since I'm on the floor three out of four days a week, the one day we are in class, everything is covered then. I guess that because this curriculum is theory based and there is no practical to take, all of our study time is done when we can. I had asked last week if anyone had completed their study guide, but apparently, I was the only one who had most of it filled out. I imagine this weekend was spend working or partying for the other students. That's usually how it goes from the stories I hear on Mondays.

That's weird? When most blokes feel weak and stupid, pulling a muscle usually makes them feel a little better?

I still think that it is more amusing if you picture this as a game in which warts have become sentient creatures and are engaging in military maneuvers in order to combat the villainous tactics of the evil General Compound W who wishes to rid the world of all warts.

I wouldn't dare hit the forum at work tbh
Not because I care if they see me dossing, I just don't need the religious onto me.
The one woman keeps talking about how she's found "the new her" after she had a car accident last year, she's all Christian now.
I swore in front of her the one day, and she was like "oh I don't use foul language!"
I do.
