Transexuals do not suffer from a mental disorder at all.

Your gender identity is completely separate from the biological sex you were born with. To feel different to how you are born is not a mental illness, it's part of your personality not your mental state.

The personality and the identity is what counts.

It's not about mental health, it's about personal identity.

Being a transgender is not a mental disorder. Not all transexuals have gender dysphoria for starters. Gender dysphoria is not the only thing that makes people transgender. Thinking otherwise is just wrong. I know they make you uncomfortable. Just like gay people make you uncomfortable. Guess what? Your religious bullshit makes other people uncomfortable and they let you be.

So . . . the guy who hectors others in another thread about supposedly wishing to restrict a bigot's "free exercise of religion" when he violates anti-discrimination laws now wants to know why the 'patients' -- supposedly "mentally compromised people" -- run the 'asylum' when they try to affect national policy by exercising their First Amendment rights to petition the government for a redress of grievances. I'll try but 'Drippy' was my first nickname for him.... inspired by the need guys have to shake off that last annoying drop of piss when we take a leak.  'Dripshit' is a much more recent acquisition to the lexicon but for you I'll give it a try.  Can't say I'll always remember, though.
