Citation needed.

Due warning. The early Marx isn't the same as the late Marx, coworking with Engels, who's quite an interesting figure in his own right.

I don't have a citation. That claim is drawn from a mix of things taken on authority and a paraphrase of Marx's predictive writings about the future of capitalism. I will gladly retract the claim if you'd like.

But now I'm curious. If Marx was a philosopher, isn't what he was doing with his philosophy ultimately "useless as garbage"?

How does posting that picture help put food in people's bellies?

You know what I said. And your dishonesty in paraphrasing me wrongly doesn't change that.

But for your convenience, I may repeat, for anyone striving to survive, philosophy is garbage. And by the way, thanks for the confirmation, you were talking out of your ass.

It just points to what you ultimately are. if that's OK with you. And that's the most friendly interpretation, since I still roll with troll.

"A troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion, often for their own amusement." -Wikipedia

Well I appreciate your kindness, and I apologize for any apparent dishonesty.

Look abaris, if you prefer that I shut up, just say so.

No, no, I'm enjoying this. I've seen better, but still.

RE: Human Freedom
Things I do not have the freedom to do:

-Detach and re-attach my legs at will.

-Eat Mount Cook.

-Spin straw into gold.

-Celebrate National Ferret-Weaving Day with a practical demonstration.

-Fly without mechanical assistance.

-Lay eggs.

-Successfully sue the God of Abraham for eight billion trillion cases of malfeasance in office.

-Teach an ant to tune a banjo.

-Wrap my willy all the way round me waist (and don't think I haven't tried).

-Force my coffee mug to sing an aria.

Clearly, then, human freedom does not exist.

Stupid fucking question.

Well I am not particularly enjoying this. What, exactly, am I doing that is drawing so much disdain from you? What can I do?
