You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

That first one is more a description of skeptics. Not all atheists are skeptical; atheism only pertains to whether any gods exist.

Yeah. My wife certainly does not subscribe to my sceptical ways. She has all kinds of weird things going on. I'm sure it's no coincidence that they're almost exactly the same as her parents' superstitions/beliefs.
When push comes to shove though, she turns to me to separate the wheat from the chaff when these things start to grate on her.

Most atheists rely heavily on science to put forward their ideas but this very science contradict you guys.

These days we got a lot of fake professional.
Wouldn't you check the credentials of applicant or anyone who say that they are professional before
you employ them or deal with them.
I would that is why before i take these people seriously i make sure they are not fake.
