To circumcise or not to circumcise?

To circumcise or not to circumcise?
We had our son (who is turning two in August) circumcised because I just assumed it was the hygienic, medically recommended choice. I now have a lot of guilt over not educating myself properly on the subject before making that decision. It was so easy to research the facts. Probably 10 minutes of reading would have changed my mind, and I didn't do it. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant, and if I have another boy he will not be circumcised, no matter how I, personally, think it looks.

Why?

Because it looks better that way.

Ugh...

Yeah, of course you'd mutilate your child - supposedly created in the image of god - because you think it looks prettier that way.("perfect all-knowing creator" really f*cked that up, didn't he? Better "improve" on his work - he clearly wasn't thinking, when he created that flap of skin.). Not even for "medical" reasons, which are also bullsh*t, unless maybe you live in a tropical f*cking swamp, with no access to soap. Not even to discourage masturbation and diminish sexual pleasure. But simply, because cut d*ck is what makes you wet...  Despicable.

And if you have a daughter - you'll probably have her 3 days old c*nt pierced, because them shiny things look sooo puhrty... Naturally - it won't do to wait and let your child decide for him-/her-self, whether or not to have their genitals mutilated, right? You wouldn't be able to play god then - something you're obviously entitled to and qualified for, since you let some dumbass squirt inside your vagina... And if your kid later decides he wants his foreskin back - he can just grow a new one, no harm done...  smh

Personally - I think trimming dog's ears is barbaric and I wouldn't do that to a living being - let alone one of the most sensitive part of a human baby.  But then - I'm not a shallow, over-privileged, self-centred Christian tw*t, with no imagination, or empathy, but with morality of a bronze age barbarian and a mandate from god to do evil, as long as it's the kind of evil endorsed in the bible...

I hope your kid thanks you one day. I really do.

I would feel the same way about the bbq baby jokes of people actually did that in real life.

Oh. I was in a rare good mood when I wrote it and just trying to be funny/goofy. I'm not sure I'd say circumcision is a "big joke" or whatever, but wouldn't have wrote it like that if I thought it was a horrible, sinful thing, akin to murdering and eating bbq'd babies or something. But I don't. That has not been my experience personally.

Well...if nothing else I'm glad you're feeling ok. Did you get new meds?

I'm not sure many people realize how easy it is to pull back the foreskin and clean the penis, but in case I haven't been clear: the foreskin is very stretchy and easy to move, so cleaning is a job that doesn't take much longer when you are not circumcised.

As for being aesthetically pleasing, honestly nobody's genitals look that aesthetically pleasing. Both penises and vaginas look...weird. The good news is that the penis, like the vagina, doesn't need to look good to do its job. People who refuse to have sex with an uncircumcised guy are assholes and shallow, just like people who refuse to have sex with circumcised guys.

Because they don't have a choice, at this point, or even a way to compare sex with and without foreskin. Even if they're pissed off about it and they fault their parents for their dumb decision - there is NOTHING they can do to change that. So they just go along with it.

As for cut penises looking "better" to women - that's just utter bullsh*t. In places where most men are uncircumcised - like Europe - women tend to think, that penises without a foreskin look weird - it's all a matter of what people are used to.

And let's not forget one more thing - circumcised penises was one of the ways Nazis were able to identify Jews, during WWII. Maaaaaany jewish children and adults could have passed for "gentiles" and avoided gas chambers, if their parents weren't so enthusiastic about marking them for life...

I am of the mind that anyone can choose not to have sex with anyone else for any reason without being considered an asshole. If you call them dirty or disgusting because of their genital shape...you're an asshole. If you just don't want to screw them then I'd say you're shallow but not necessarily an asshole. Personally whether or not I have sex tends to be based on how I feel about the person and the level of trust.

These types of threads really weigh on my mind. It's so hard not to form opinions based on what people are willing to do to children. Same goes for spanking/child abuse threads. Bleh. Sucky topic is sucky.

Tbh when penii are erect I honestly can't tell the difference between circumcised and uncircumcised, don't know if it's just me. They look different flacid, but exactly the same erect to me.
