It's 100% Avast that's your problem.

I've never had an issue with avira messing up updates, before... but yeah... I won't say it can't happen.
For me on my laptop it was fine except for if my computer was off and Windows decides to update on startup. Then it gives you the looping orange screen.

Haha no I only had Avast. I had installed Avast when I wanted Avira, because I got them mixed up.
They will have to pry win 7 from my cold dead hands
Windows 7 is the best. Followed by XP, then Win 95, then Win 98 IMO
Vista was a bunch of shit, Win98 was buggy but usable. Windows 8 holy shit it's worse than Vista.  RE: Fucking Windows 8/8.1
