Who Are Your Favorite Fictional Characters (tv, movies, literature etc.)?

Which fictional character(s) do you identify with most? If you were to define yourself using fictional characters, then whom would you choose?

I like a lot of fictional characters. If you want one I identify with, I'd have to go with Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Good, simple book with deep characters.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

You have two separate questions in the OP. Who I identify with and who I like are two different sets of characters. I like Holden Caufield from The Catcher In The Rye, but I don't identify with him anymore. I identify with Tyler Durden from Fight Club, but I like The Narrator more. I like Anna Karenina, but I can't identify with her. I like Leto Atreides from Dune, but I don't identify with him either.

I went into Brokeback Mountain convinced the Ennis Del Mar character would be 'me'. I sure flubbed that one, turns out I'm Jack Twist. For friends who know me in RL, that revelation was a HUGE surprise for them too.
And for an otherwise obscure straight man in northern WI, no surprise at all . . . .

But to use the free space, I sometimes identify with Tom Cullen from the same story.

Wesley Crusher of course!
