Where else?

You like every other human being keep on rowing day after day for the simple reason that
to stay where you are does not make you happy.
Why would I "stop rowing" you simpleton.  I'm happy with my life.  I want to keep living it, lol.

The unhappy often feel that the happy are only fooling themselves.  This, from you, is unsurprising.

I'm sorry if your life is a pile of unsalvageable sht, Rik..I really am.  You need to find a better way of dealing with it, though, imo, than dreaming about how great everything will be after you die. A better way of dealing with it, than imagining that everyone else is as unhappy as you are, here, in this life.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You are happy because you keep on breathing on drinking on eating on having sex (maybe) and on doing things that we all do.
Just try to stop rowing and see where your happiness is going to?

Beside why should I be unhappy?
On top of the above mention things I also practice yoga which is food for the mind so I am a lot more happy than you.
You never thought about that Rit, did you?  Wink

I think you spend way more time stirring up controversy on atheist forums than you do seeking oneness with the universe.

Right. Someone who was actually happy wouldn't need to rub it in everyone's face all the time.

Not exactly serene. More like a rabid bible thumper.

I'd love to know how Rik has determined he's happier than other people. All that would probbaly indicate is that he was a particularly well behaved badger in a past life or something, right?

What would a badger have to do to qualify as well behaved?
