We cook a lot of French toast. Never thought about using almond milk. Thank you for the idea!
I've never tried, but apparently t's a thing. I'm lactose intolerant.

No sauce or anything? :0
Initially I didn't eat them with a sauce, just some butter on the rice, but I had some leftover BBQ sauce made from a mix. It was *meh* -- much too salty -- but I finished up the sauce with the one remaining chicken leg when I had lunch the other day.
I have, however, acquired a jar of a very nice butter chicken sauce and am going to be making that the next time we have chicken.
Tonight's supper is going to be multigrain spaghetti with browned butter and myzithra cheese.

Ended up cooking brown rice with shrimp and peas. I used a bullion cube, and threw in peas, shrimp, and several shakes of lime and soy sauce. Kind of overkill on the lime. But shrimp's always awesome, and rice usually is.
Dinner? I don't know. I somewhat feel like pasta.

For tonight, I'll be grilling a New York strip, accompanied by vegetable kebabs over rice ... my once-a-week treat.
I made a chicken soup last night that came out really well.

Just made a batch of butter chicken (from a jar of sauce, not from scratch) and had some with rice, mango chutney, and a couple of gherkins.

The meatballs were a hit with the kids. Served them with pasta and homemade sauce and had broccoli on the side.
