Atrocities in the Bible

You've responded...what, three or four times now, about that, without ever actually telling us whatever it is you think it's about. Get to the money shot man.

The money shot is for you, vorlon13 or both to go back and read the passages in Num. 5 and tell me what the drink was made of. I'm tired of the dodging, do it or move on.

Why do you keep asking what the abortifacient was made of?  Do you think it matters? Do you think that the abortive service provider was keen to share his recipe?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I bet it's one of those trick Bible questions.

Answer is gonna be something like "the glory of the Lawd"  or some body part, or fluid or exudate of Jesus's.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I'm over you all, you're afraid of being wrong and embarrassed before the others here, now that's what I call a willingness to learn.

Perhaps we have all misinterpreted then, or taken it out of context or something? Please explain what it means GC.

For the love of Himeros GC, the suspense is killing me. Why won't you just tell them how you interpret the verses.
If it helps things along, the liquid was holy water mixed with scrapings of whatever dust was laying about on the floor.

Poor GC, didn't know his own bible.  Boohoo.  When confronted with the the reality of the bible..he prefers the cult of the GOP.

What are we afraid of being wrong of? The passage in question literally demands an abortion be performed under certain circumstances.

And I'll also note that for somebody who is very quick to accuse others of being afraid of being wrong, you're the one tapdancing madly around the issue, refusing to give a straight answer to any question.

I know more from one page of the Bible than you do of the entirety of it.
You think you're so smart and found new verses to bring controversy to the Bible as usual you are dead wrong. If those verses were translated as you say the Pro-Choice movement would have been all over those verses long ago. Sorry there kiddo but you lose again.

New verse?  Controversy? It;s not new -or- controversial. It's as old as the KJV, and retranslated without any significant changes up to the NIV.  The ritual is meant to induce a miscarriage in the event of an unfaithful spouse.  That's not my translation, that's just what the narrative says.  That is an abortion, decided upon by the husband, carried out by the preist, to avoid becoming a cuckold......signed sealed and delivered as The Law™.

Do you have a problem with the word of god? Would you like to correct the word of god, for the benefit of those of us who suffer from the misfortune of an excess of literacy and dearth of faith?
