The major problem is from what I've found from this forum is people are not willing to introduce themselves to things that are not government approved. I think that's a big reason, why we have leftists who want to give government more control because they mistakenly think like most communists that they will have control. It gives conspiracy believers a sense of identity and self worth that they feel they are in on something the general population does not appreciate. So knowing all about a big secret is what it's about.
