Alpha, your stance seems very narrow minded, when you look at the things a global perspective.
But hey.... if you want to hang on to that tribal mentality... be my guest! It's literally in your genes!
Lel poca. You are a little frustrated. You cant compete with stupidity. So better remain with being humane than pretend to be because a book says so. Save that tuga love for the deserving. Your words will bounce faster than a photon in a mirror.
Ok I will grab me coat again.

One tries to put some perspective in front of these people...
If they see it, so much for the better.... if they don't.... I did my best.
Besides, most of those words come from people far more influential than me, here, on an internet forum. They come from people who were out there, who felt it. From people who saw our planet as a whole, as a small fragile world where borders become meaningless...
I guess that's the message I'm trying to pass on to alpha... within any population, a small percentage will do harm to others. This applies to a particular country's population as well to any people who move from one country to another. If it's not the child of the immigrant, it's the child of the patriot.
One may argue that immigrants increase the absolute number of people living in a particular country and, thus, the absolute number of people who do harm... but so does giving birth.
Every year, more people die due to traffic accidents than to any other non-illness related cause... and yet... cars are still made.... I hear almost no one calling for a ban to all cars.
I'll forever be more afraid of a car than any Muslim living in Europe.
(maybe, when cars are truly autonomous, they'll follow all road traffic regulations and this statistic will decline rapidly, but until then... that's how it is)

Go tell the parents of the dead that everything will be better if they'd just look at things from a global perspective.

Try putting it in front of the parents of the dead children.
Seriously, if you made that point in an open letter to the parents of the dead children, don't you think most people would think you're a giant douchebag?

Some people you can't talk out of it, what does that have to do with shit?
That is still not license for you to be a insensitive tone def human to all the others who don't do those things.
YOU, "They use their religion to justify violence"
Sane people, "No shit"
You, "Get rid of them all"
Sane people, " Congrats, you have become the monster you claim to be fighting"
You are suffering selection bias and sample rate error.
There is a long term global species history involved here, your narrow focus on on point in human existence history is why you cannot see the flaw in that thinking.
NOBODY is saying not to criticize Islam or the Koran. Nobody is saying don't go after violent people.
STOP IGNORING THAT.
What we are saying is while going after bad claims and violent INDIVIDUALS don't lose your compassion or empathy by vilifying humans based on a label.
If you insist on living in a paranoid bubble, you are too stupid to understand that the very thing you say you hate in our species, our violent side, is the very thing you can potentially set a society up to do the very same thing.
I am a liberal, but most people here know I am not politically correct. But the one thing I don't do regardless of my bluntness, is use blanket solutions.
I would be thrilled for example, to have Malala living as my neighbor, even though I don't find her religion credible. I would be thrilled to have Muslim Keith Ellison our CONGRESSMAN as my neighbor, for the very same reason.
I also have TWO Hispanic families on both sides of me. In my 10 yrs living here, I have not had one lick of trouble from them, nor would I rat them out, even if I did know their status.
IT IS CALLED COMPASSION, and I will NOT sacrifice my empathy because some humans are violent because the good side of my species produces far more WHO ARE NOT.
My X wife is Japanese, her grandfather was in the Japanese military during WW2, do I still assume her guilt because of something she was not involved in?
Give it up Frank Burns, your fear is fear, based on xenophobia, having nothing to do with protecting western pluralism.
You are acting in the same manor of paranoid fear the closed states like Saudi Arabia and Iran sell to their populations.

How many children die in cars every year?
I don't see the parents of those children calling for a ban on cars! I don't hear high government officials proposing such a ban!
Same goes for guns in the good ol' U. S. of A.
White people can kill each other freely, but brown people can't kill a single white, is that it?
I know there's a stupid emotional reaction to these things, but people must realize that stupidity (If they can) and rise above it when designing regulation that applies to all.
You are wanting your own petty, tribal, local prejudice influence how things should be on a national level. And that is usually the wrong way to do things.
Sadly, there seems to be a high enough number of Americans that think the same way as you... All I can say is: Enjoy the long term results of going against the rest of humanity.

This isn't my delusion...I'm not advocating for preemptive sanctions against people whose children may one day commit crimes, because some other guys children once did. I;m simply applying that gem consistently, to the demographic which presents the greatest past and present risk to americans. Other americans.
In your case, however, there's no need to present a hypothetical future risk, you are already a current..actualized risk to americans. Thankfully, the risk you present, individually, is as miniscule as your authority, so theres no need for anyone to come hit you with a truncheon or kick you out of the country and lock the door behind you.

In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. That you need to set up a straw man of my position should tell you something.
Should be:
Me: "Don't let people in from certain countries known to produce more terrorists than other countries."
That's common sense. You guys employ the same principal at the personal level. You don't just leave your doors open and indiscriminately let people in. The odds of a bad outcome would be too high. But, at the national level, you're willing to play the odds, so you can feel good about yourself and virtue signal.

As I said earlier, the fact that there are necessary risks in life doesn't mean that one must indiscriminately accept unnecessary risks. That's ridiculous.

No, I'm not advocating sanctions. That would imply that people in other countries have a right to live in the U.S., and I'm trying to take that away. They don't have that right. It's a privilege that the US can offer as it pleases.
Citizens OTOH do have a right to be here.
Your consistency is the problem. We have apples and oranges, and you want to treat them all as apples.

No, treat every person in the world as having the rights of an American citizen is the new common sense, or at least will be if the left has its way.
The common sense for a long time has been that citizens of a country have rights which non-citizens don't have. I don't know why that's so difficult for you to grasp.
